Merely Players

Merely Players is a community theatre troupe located on Fulton Street. Based out of the Lincoln Community Center, The Merely Players perform family-friendly plays and musicals.

Often incorrectly referred to as the "Merrily Players", the name was given to the group by founder and Artistic Director Gretchen Etzell in reference to the Shakespeare quote from As You Like It "All the world's a stage and all the men and women merely players."

The group has provided theatre productions and a creative outlet for the community for over 25 years.
