The Lookout Drive Scenic Overlook on Lookout Drive offers a sweeping vista of the Minnesota River Valley. The Minnesota River, Blue Earth River, Downtown, West Mankato, Skyline and Le Hillier are visible, although trees obscure much of the view from the lookout point itself during the summer. In this case, walking up Lookout Drive a few hundred feet allows one to see over the trees.
